1. Registration Details

Please note early registration ends on September 10th, 2017.

Registration fee is $275 for regular member and $150 for students if before September 5th.

Registration for Frontier for optics (FIV) is free for FVM attendees. Please visit here for details:

Registration of invited speakers is optional. if you wish to be waived of the registration fee, please contact the conference organizer.

2. Accommodation
We have discounted hotels reserved for FVM at Courtyard Marriott Chevy Chase Hotel from October 12-15:

If you specify "I am visiting American University", you might be able to get a discount. But you must specify that you are "a visitor" instead of attending a conference.





3. Travel
Washington DC has excellent public transport.

FVM is located at
the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.

The closest Metro station is the Tenleytown/AU stop on the red line. From the Metro, you can take the AU shuttle bus to Katzen from the corner of Albemarle and 40th Street. The bus runs every 1015 minutes.
